An adjustable height table can be set for younger students this year and older students next year, or raised for standing work and lowered for seated work. This collection includes adjustable tables from Marco, National Public Seating, Regency, Allied Plastics, Scholar Craft, and others, for classrooms, science labs, training rooms, and offices.

Three ways tables adjust

• Adjustable legs. Activity tables, like the Aero and Workhorse series, adjust at the legs. You set the height for the room and change it when the class changes.
• Pneumatic lift. P.H.A.T. tables (Pneumatic Height Adjustable Tables) move from 30-1/4" to 43-1/4" with one touch, for switching between seated and standing work.
• Electric lift. Ascend II 3-stage electric tables raise and lower with a motor, in rectangular and L-shape configurations.

Tops for every room

Choose high-pressure laminate for general classrooms, ChemGuard or solid phenolic tops for science labs, and dry-erase tops for collaborative work. Blow-molded plastic folding tables suit multipurpose rooms. ADA Adaptable Tables adjust from 27-3/4" to 39" high.

What height should a classroom table be?

It depends on the students and the chairs. Match the table to the chair seat height so students sit with feet flat and forearms level with the top. Adjustable legs let one table serve several grade levels.

Can an adjustable height table meet ADA requirements?

It can. The ADA Standards set accessible work surfaces between 28" and 34" above the floor, and an adjustable table can be set within that range. Our wheelchair and ADA tables are built for that purpose.
