Why recycled plastic lumber? Recycled plastic lumber requires no maintenance and is very durable with a long lifecycle because it does not rot (like some woods) or rust (like metal). Recycled plastic lumber is not only comfortable to sit on because it doesn’t get hot or splinter; it’s a sustainable product too. It is made of a combination of plastics that would have otherwise gone to the landfill such as bottle tops, bottles and plastic bags.
