The desk top is made of solid hard plastic that resists scratching and gouging and is impervious to stains, polish, strong detergents, food products, and most chemicals. It will not melt, delaminate, splinter, swell, shrink or warp under extreme moisture or temperature changes.

This desk also has a fully welded frame with stretcher support tube.
